Kendra A. Christensen is an associate at Governo Law Firm.  Since joining the firm in 2008, Ms. Christensen has concentrated her practice in the areas of asbestos litigation, insurance defense, toxic torts, and products liability.  Ms. Christensen is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut and represents clients in all of these jurisdictions. 

Within her asbestos litigation practice, Ms. Christensen represents clients in the manufacturing, construction and aviation fields.  She has resolved numerous cases for her clients by way of dynamic and spirited motion practice.  She recently obtained summary judgment for an equipment manufacturer in a multi-million dollar personal injury case.  Pivotal to the ruling was damaging testimony which Ms. Christensen elicited from the plaintiff’s own expert witness.

Prior to joining the Governo Law Firm, Ms. Christensen practiced with a boutique Boston law firm that specialized in insurance defense, environmental law, and products liability. She was involved in litigating a six-million dollar breach of contract case involving a defective cable.

Ms. Christensen graduated, cum laude, from New England School of Law in 2006, where she served as an associate editor for the New England School of Law Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement.  She received her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from The George Washington University in 2002, where she was a member of the mock trial team.
