Timothy J. Dodd has been practicing law in Rhode Island since 1984, first with McKinnon & Harwood in Pawtucket and for the past 10 years in his own firm.  Mr. Dodd has tried cases in both the state and federal courts in Rhode Island and argued before both appellate benches.  His practice includes the defense of toxic tort, products liability and complex negligence actions, as well as corporate and commercial matters.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Dodd is a member of the Law Faculty of the Community College of Rhode Island in Warwick.  He has also taught at the Rhode Island College location of the National Academy for Paralegal Studies, Inc.

Mr. Dodd is a 1981 magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society.  He is a 1984 graduate of Suffolk University Law School in Boston.  Mr. Dodd is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Rhode Island Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society where he is actively engaged in fund raising, client service and legal assistance.
