Melissa L. Tarab received her B.A. in English from Bowdoin College magna cum laude in 1996 and her M.A. in English from Boston College in 1998. Ms. Tarab earned her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in 2010 with bar results pending. While attending law school, she served as note/case comment editor of the Suffolk University Law Review. She also received Jurisprudence awards in Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, and Basic Federal Income Tax, as well as briefing and oral argument awards. In 2008, she interned in the copyright, media, and entertainment department at Fish and Richardson P.C. Ms. Tarab joined Governo Law Firm in 2003 as a paralegal and will continue with the firm in its toxic tort and product liability litigation. Prior to joining Governo Law Firm, Ms. Tarab held a variety of humanity teaching positions at the middle school and college level, including work as a writing instructor at Northeastern University.
