David M. Governo and Sarah E. O’Leary are pleased to announce the publication of their new book chapter "An Overview of Toxic Mold Litigation in Massachusetts" by Lawyers and Judges Publishing Company, Inc. http://www.lawyersandjudges.com/productdetails.cfm?PC=1294 in the Second Edition of "Toxic Mold Litigation" (2009). In this chapter, we describe theories of liability, as well as procedural, medical causation, remediation and insurance issues that arise in mold-related claims. We successfully defended the first mold-related case to be tried in Rhode Island (defense verdict for a homeowner after a week-long trial in Newport, RI) and have been active in mold litigation for many years.
